John Norris McMillan

John Norris McMillan, an Auto Glass Technician and resident of Loganville, GA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the age of 56. John is survived by his parents, John R. McMillan and Rita Rogers McMillan; his daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Scott Adams; two beautiful granddaughters, Braylee and Addisyn Adams; his son, Tyler McMillan; his sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Sam Smith; two nieces and a nephew, Piper, Brielle, and Syler Smith; his wife, Christie McMillan; his step-children, Chase and Nicole Hunter; and many beloved aunts and cousins. John was born on October 5, 1967, in Dunn, North Carolina. He was a 1985 graduate of Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. John was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed a simple life of spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, playing his guitar, engaging in art projects, and reading his Bible. His strongest role models in life were his father, grandfather (Clarence Rogers), and uncles (Joseph and Edward McMillan). He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A viewing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. with the service following at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at Moores Funeral Home in Milledgeville. John’s employer and friend, Ray Mills will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
