Mr. Edward Scott Bruce, 51, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the family residence.

Mr. Bruce was a native of Augusta and lived in Gwinnett County before moving to Putnam County 5 years ago. He was the son of the late Edward Bruce and Katherine Slappley Welch and was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Bruce. He was superintendant of Construction for Hansel & Grainger, LLC.

He is survived by his wife, "Mary" India Templeton Bruce; son, Zachary (Lisa) Driver; grandchildren, Angie, Matt, Ryan, Khristie, and Morgan; great grandchild, Brady; sister, Meg Welch; and brothers, Monty Welch and Jon Welch.
