Lisa Marie Cummisky Strobel, age 45 of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, January 28th, 2010. Lisa leaves behind a husband Mr. Chris Strobel and daughter Samantha Marie of Buford, GA. Parents Edward & Elaine Cummiskey of Lawrenceville, GA, sister, Kathy & David Horne of Sugar Hill, GA. Her Aunt, Ms. Paula Mariano of Milton, NH. Her cousins, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Barry of North Andover, MA., Mr. & Mrs. Tom Higgins of Groveland, MA. She was born in Lynn, Mass. on May 9th, 1964. Graduated in 1982 from Redan High School, Stone Mtn. GA. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic church, Flowery Branch Ga. Lisa was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to all who knew her. After a courageous 30 year battle with Crohn's disease, she is finally at peace. Lisa's greatest love was being a mother to her only daughter, Samantha Marie. She was devoted home maker and had a life long devotion to animals and children.
